With the ever changing Colorado climate and high altitude, we do have some fluctuation with rawhide drums meaning the hide can tighten or loosen. The thicker the hide the better the drum performs. Moose rawhide is more rare to acquire than other local hides, this moose hide ships in from Canada. Other more humid climates this drum will sound great. If I make a drum for you and you live in a humid climate, let me know so I can lace it up appropriately.

A thick moose hide drum is not for the beginner drum maker. Making this drum requires some experience and a lot of strength to properly stretch the hide and lace it up. The work in making this drum will be well worth it. 

The deep resonance will penetrate deep in the body while stimulating and soothing the spirit & mind. This is the type of drum would be perfect for a Sound Journey, Meditation, Qi Gong, Yoga, Healing Work, Ceremony and even sweat lodge.

There are 3 options to choose from depending on what you want. Shipping cost is included if your local. Materials are ordered and shipped from Canada directly to me. If you request me to make your drum for you and ship it to you there will be an additional shipping charge.

1) Moose rawhide drum & thick moose leather drum bag workshop $611.00             In this workshop you will make your drum the 1st day and make your drum bag the 2nd day or schedule a later date. Plan on a 5 hour window to make your drum and 2 hour window to make your drum bag. Depending on your level of experience and ability, the workshop time can be less or more.

2) Moose rawhide drum workshop $400.00 (1day, 5 hrs)

3) I make your moose drum and thick moose leather drum bag $577.00 + sh.                                                        I ship to you or you can pick up if your local to Boulder County.
